Prayer for friends

Before having a wonderful sleep last night, I had the chance of listening over MOR 93.9  songs that have been part of my college years. One particular song that help me reminisce happy thoughts of my very good friends Richel, Ronnie, Riza, Mona and Donna is One Friend.

There is poignancy  whenever I think of these great friends. We have had such wonderful memories and foolishness together back in college and it’s been eight years that we haven’t personally seen each other. (Thanks to Facebook and sms, we stay connected.)

One special thing about us, I recall, is that we pray for each other… and on very touching ocassions, we pray together.

This special post is for them and for the wonderful people who have shared me their friendship.

The Christmas Inbox

Blessings do abound us whenever the Yuletide season comes. When I was a young child, this time of the year is the event I looked forward to experience. Though I did not always have my childish wishes granted.

As I grow older, this season stresses me whenever I would look open the material aspect of embracing the season. The merriment derived from experiencing this loveliest season, of course, is priceless.

Material presents bring joy but what remains the most precious are those that are intangible and are perceived beyond our sight.

Speaking of gifts, here as my final entry for the year 2010 is my inbox for December. [Note: I was unable to transcribe some of the quotes sent in my inbox since I intentionally deleted all the items after my unit had an annoying memory lapse. I have learned later that it was because of the anti-virus application I downloaded and installed in my unit some time in the first week of December.]
